IT'S TIME TO PANIC!  

 

 

 

Well actually, time to let you know about Pelham Panic Summer Travel Softball!

 

Pelham Softball has summer softball travel teams that will be competing for the 9th year this summer.

 

Below is the information on the program and when tryouts are:

 

Pelham Panic Travel Softball will roster teams playing at the 10U and 12U l and 14/16U level for the 2015 season. 

 

The Pelham Panic Travel Softball 2015 teams register to play in the Middle Essex Softball league.  The league attracts 200+ teams competing at 10U-18U levels from eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire. The season will begin the third week of June and conclude the first week of August. Practices will begin early-mid June and be scheduled around the current softball season.  Games will be played on Monday thru Thursday evenings, one home and one away per week.  There is a possibility that each team may enter one or two tournaments that are played on weekends.  More information about the league can be found at eteamz.com/middleessex.  

 

Teams will be determined by a tryout.  Players selected for Pelham Panic teams will be at the sole discretion of the coaching staff.  Girls will be evaluated on athletic skill, softball fundamentals and “coachability.”  Playing for the Panic requires attendance at practice and games.  Family vacations are an exception provided time away is not excessive.  Attendance may affect playing time.  The Panic is looking for girls who are dedicated to softball and want to play to improve their skills.

 

Players selected will need to purchase the uniform shirt and shorts, and a black helmet.  Players will also need to supply their own black sliding shorts and sliding pad.  Any returning players can use last year’s uniform to help defray cost.  The player cost for the 2015 season will be $125.00, plus any additional uniform (shirt and shorts-$40.00 total) and equipment costs.  The minimum player cost for those returning that do not need a uniform will be $125.00 to cover league fees, insurance, game balls, new socks, new visor, and practice t-shirt.  

 

Pelham Panic is part of Pelham Softball Inc., but is self-funding by participant’s registration fees.
